Great cabin wonderful location. Proximate to Boone and great hiking at Grayson Highlands. Hot tub was the best after long days hiking even when it was 32 degrees outside. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay surrounded by nature. The smores were great as we had a campfire two nights. The walk/hike to the river was refreshing and the weather was amazing. The hot tub was an added bonus! My parents celebrated their 50th anniversary and loved every minute here. My dad who is legally blind with neuropathy had an easy time navigating the home and grounds. We had a wonderfully relaxing time down by the river, in the hot tub, watching movies, working a puzzle, swinging in the hammock, and warming ourselves by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows and making s’mores! We also appreciated all the appliances, cookware, and towels for the hot tub. The walking sticks were also a welcome discovery put to good use on the walk down to the river. |

Loved Wil-DEER-ness! Quaint cabin tucked away for privacy and relaxation. Enjoyed the fire pit, horse shoes, hot tub and wood surroundings! Kitchen had pot and pans for days! Master bedroom was perfect! We went when the leaves were just starting to change. Weather was warm in the day cooler at night. Fireplaces and heaters worked great! We arrived to a bowl of biscuits for our dog! Fun, relaxing week. |

The cabin was beautiful, clean, with detailed notes for everything. There is plenty of privacy. The lot has nice fire pit, a place to play horseshoes, grill, and hot tub outside. If you want to relax at cabin all day there is plenty to do. Very quiet and peaceful. If you like to read, the porch with rockers and nothing but the sound of nature is perfect. Nice cleared path to river. We will definitely go back. The owners respond quickly with any questions |

The pictures of this cabin don't capture the charm or beauty of the place and property. The cabin is clean, well organized, full of fun touches and yes, beautiful. We very much enjoyed or stay. The cabin was the perfect place to return after a day(s) exploring West Jefferson and Boone. The cabin is comfortable and relaxing. |

This is a secluded cabin 75 yards from the New River fifteen minutes to Jefferson and 20 minutes to River outfitters. The well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy. |

Loved the cabin! It had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. Saw deer both mornings. Had a fire at the fire pit and sat in the river, the river was lovely and so convenient to the cabin. Such a beautiful area. Thank you for sharing your cabin. The beds were sooooo comfortable! |

As a returning guest the cabin never, ever disappoints. A long weekend filled with relaxation, friendship, rivertime, fire-pit time, hot tub time,. porch time, walking time, chillin time, you get the gist! We have enjoyed this beautiful cabin this week! It is so peaceful and relaxing, its just what we needed. We loved the river the private access was wonderful! We went to the Christmas in July festival. We also went to the grand opening of the Old Barn Winery and that was awesome! Thank you for a wonderful week here. P.S We loved all the signs! |

Thanks for providing the best cabin we’ve stayed in since we started staying in cabins 20 years ago. We’ve stayed at least 30 vacation rentals over the last 20 years. This was by far the best! Everything worked! Everything was clean! The instructions were clear for every aspect of the cabin.What an organizational masterpience this cabin is! You have thought of everything and we appreciate your thoughtfulness in advance. You made sure with your cute little notes that we had no questions on how everything worked. We enjoyed hiking at Greyson Highlands State Park and petting the wild ponies. We also loved driving around the area and viewing the lovely homes and yard and the wonderful area. A total joy! |

25th Anniversary retreat. Absolutely Wonderful! We've stayed at many Cabin properties over the last 12 years and Wil-deer-ness Cabin is most definitely in the Top 2. The location is secluded but easily accessible, VERY quiet, serene and peaceful. There's abundant access to hiking trails, shopping, tourist spots and close proximity to the world-famous Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin and property were very clean, well maintained and fully stocked with our every need. The Hosts were excellent with communication and did in fact respond to a particular request within minutes when we reached out to them. The cabin is nicely decorated and is adorned with small discreet instructional placards everywhere that explain how to use things or where to find them. The only regret we had with this place was leaving it. We gladly convey a 5-star rating to this property and would highly recommend it to everyone. |

My husband and I stayed here for a quick anniversary trip, and thoroughly enjoy this cabin! The cabin was more than big enough for just the two of us, and it was very well appointed. We didn’t use the kitchen for other than our morning coffee, but if I wanted to cook a full meal, I would have had everything I needed. The trail to the river was very well marked and cleared for passage. Sitting on the swing next to the river was so peaceful! Would definitely stay here again. We had a great stay and enjoyed the seclusion. Thank You! By the way we found 117 deer on the property. Wil-deer-ness |

This is the perfect spot to get away from it all! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The trail to the river was clean and picturesque, my 5 year old said the river Bank was like a fairy tale. Looking forward to booking here again! |

The cabin location was exactly what we were looking for - secluded but close enough to town. Our favorite part was the family of eagles we saw soaring over the river one morning! Perfect location and all the little details were simply amazing. My husband and I throughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely be back! We have utilized VRBO several times through the years and this was by far our favorite place yet! |

This was by far the best stay at any cabin we've ever had. We came well prepared but quickly discovered how prepared the cabin was for us. A lot of our 4 days here was spent utilizing the amenities at the cabin. Climbing Mt. Jefferson was a must for any future campers. We stay at a cabin every anniversary, and will definitely bring friends next time, as we will return. |

This was a perfect get-away for us! The cabin is so beautiful and clean. It has everything we could want. We enjoyed the firepit, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The hot tub is amazing! One of the nicest we have seen! So relaxing! We really enjoyed the walk down to the river. : We loved the hot tub and the layout of the house. All of the amenities such as the kitchen appliances, the washer and dryer, and anything needed to make a meal were there. (Kudos on all the pampered chef.) The privacy/seclusion was perfect, along with the closeness to the river. The communication with us was great and very responsive. |

We came on a mini-vacation with friends and it was just what we needed. This cabin was perfect.Had a great relaxing weekend. Very private location. Beautiful wooded site, perfect oasis after skiing and needing to relax in the hot tub. We spent friday antique shopping in town and all day Saturday snow skiing at App. Ski Mountain. The snow, weather and everything was perfect. |

Came to relax and discover this part of NC for my 50th! Immediately we felt peace. The cabin is perfect.Great cabin with a warm, cozy and peaceful feeling. Very private location not too far from amenities and the hot tub is awesome. You have thought of every detail. We rode the Virginia Creeper Trail, and thoroughly enjoyed the 1st snowfall on my birthday. We will be back. You have done an amazing job! Highly recommend this cabin! |
