We had such a nice relaxing stay. We loved the hot tub for relaxing evenings after sight seeing in W. Jefferson. What a beautiful cabin in the woods you have here. We don't have these as much in Texas. Hopefully we can get back here in the summer time to enjoy these woods even more. Thank you! |

Even though it rained all weekend we got plenty to do and enjoyed the hot tub. It rained all weekend so unfortunately we weren't able to use the fire pit, corn hole, etc. Awesome relaxing stay. We will be back! Thank you very much everything was perfect! |

Truly relaxing. Enjoyed every moment recharging and relaxing. We liked the tranquility and remoteness, but still within minutes of any needs. Great stay and enjoyed ourselves. The notes left around the cabin were very helpful. The information notebooks were very detailed. Loved the fire pit! Fire wood was available and seating was perfect. Loved the decor of the cabin it was very cozy and inviting. The fireplace gave a perfect romantic setting! We look forward to coming back!!! |

We enjoyed our stay greatly! We came up here for my 40th birthday and it was everything we could have wanted and more. The cabin was wonderful, they have anything and everything you could possibly need or want here. The nearby towns were also great, extremely friendly people. The thing we liked the most was being so secluded, but close enough to run into town for what you might need. The yard was so so great. So much area to move around on. In the past we have rented homes in the Mountains, Only to use the house and porch or deck...no outside space. There's so much to do outside weather permitting at Wil-deer-ness Cabin. My wife and I really enjoyed the cabin and all it had to offer. Great location, very clean, and very affordable. Out of all the cabins we've rented in the last 6 or 7 years; Wil-deer-ness cabin has moved to the top of our list. We WIL-B-BACK. |

loved how easy the entire
experience was. The cabin was easy to find, it was clean and
we
loved all the notes around the house that told us where to find things!
We were able to relax and just enjoy our stay there without
worry. We really enjoyed your cabin. We have stayed in other cabins in the area and this one by far is the BEST! You've made it very easy with all the instructions thru-out the house. Last but not least the hot tub was amazing and relaxing. We will definitely be back! |

This is our second stay at Wil-deer-ness! We love to get away, have peace & quiet! We love the privacy! Not much trafic at all. Of course we love the hot tub! We were in it within 45 mins of our arrival! The cabin this time and the first time was very clean. Thanks for all the note reminders around the cabin. Kitchen had all we needed. Can't wait for our next stay! You have such a wonderful place here and we will be back! Thanks so much! |

Had a nice stay at your cabin. It is remote enough that you have privacy and close enough to town that you have town. Lovely secluded cabin perfect for getting away from EVERYTHING and that made it perfect for our honeymoon. Will be back. |

Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! We had a blissful 2 days away from the rest of the world. The cabin had everything we needed and more and everything was so well labeled and easy to find. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, outdoor speakers and hammock as well as relaxing with our coffee on the front porch every morning. Cabin was great - had everything we needed already. Really enjoyed the small touches like the outdoor speakers, little funny signs, plastic glasses for use outdoors, everything! We will be back for sure in the spring. Thanks so much! Wildeerness Cabin provided the perfect getaway for our two year anniversary. Our weekend was spent cooking lunches and dinners in the kitchen and outdoors on the grill. We loved star-gazing in the bubbly hot tub at night. The cabin is gorgeous and we had a wonderful time on our first visit to Wildeerness. Looking forward to our next visit already! |

Sad
that we must leave and go back home. Being here was a
wonderful
escape from the day to day hussle and bustle. We loved the
fall
decorations that were in the yard when we arrived and also the
beautiful towel swans, rose petals & wine on ice in our
bedroom.
Just so romantic for our 10 year anniversary.
I have
an Aunt & some cousins that live in Jefferson & West
Jefferson
and we enjoyed so much seeing them a couple of times while in the
mountains. We had the pleasure of traveling the parkway one
day
& visiting Linville Caverns & Blowing Rock then coming
back to
the cabin to relax. The following day, we picked up where we
left
off on the parkway & drove all the way to Stone Mt.
Along the
drive that day, we had the pleasure of seeing a doe & her fawn.
There were so many overlooks & even the small ones
had
beautiful scenery. Our anniversary was on the 11th and we
enjoyed
a wonderful dinner at "The Old Hotel Restaurant" in West Jefferson.
We hope that we'll be able to come back. Thank you
so much
for everything! The privacy and location of the cabin was great! We wanted to do so much and see everything, tried to get our relax time in. The cabin was very inviting for quiet time, which we did get some of it in. Hopefully we can return next year. The extras - Roses, Wine, Rose Petals on the bed - made my wife feel extra special, which she is. |

Thank
you, thank you, thank you! For providing a wonderful and
relaxing place to stay. This has been a long awaited for
"honeymoon" for me & my husband. We walked around
downtown West Jefferson and went to the "Haunted House" at the old
Lansing school. But the best part was just spending time
together at the cabin. Thank you! We liked the privacy of the cabin. No cars running up and down the street. Got to spend quality time with my wife. Something we needed for a long time. We fell in love all over again. The favorite parts of our trip was ALL OF IT. Everything was perfect. I can't think of anything that I would change. The only regret that we have is that we didn't find this piece of paradise sooner. PS - We got to see two does on our last day here. Beautiful! |

We love the Wildeerness Cabin! What a beautiful relaxing place. We loved the secluded private quiet location. The cabin is warm, cozy and has everything you could possibly need to relax and enjoy your vacation. The hot tub was great and we liked having all the amenities like WiFi, DVD, stereo with outdoor speakers and TV. We enjoyed the hammock, porch rockers and having an evening campfire. We enjoyed the scenic drive there and to Boone and West Jefferson. Great shopping and places to eat. You have thought of everythign to make a stay here perfect. The Wildeerness cabin is adorable! We hope to be frequent guests and will be glad to let our friends and family know about your special place. We are all looking forward to returning again soon. Our all girls trip was so much fun. What an awesome location! A great place to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin is surrounded by peace and natural beauty. We enjoyed watching the baby deer feed each day after lunch, and relaxing and reading on the porch. The cabin was complete with everything that anyone would need to have an enjoyable vacation. Our vacation was very enjoyable. We have stayed at other cabins in the area & yours was the best by far. Our first time here - but definitely looking forward to coming back soon. Lovely setting - very quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub; internet worked well. No real negatives. We enjoyed going to Grayson Highland Park and drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway to Linville Falls. The location did give us an opportunity to see our son who came down from West Virginia for 2 days. We tend to travel a lot of different places, and we may decide to come back in a few years. We appreciate your professionalism throughout the rental experience. |

Thanks for providing such a great retreat for us to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We really appreciated the cleanliness, extra items for comfort, Pampered Chef products, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub, tv and ample opportunities to rest/relax. setting was very private and the cabin was very nice. It has
a very cozy atmosphere to it which we really liked. These past four days have been truly blissful. The hot tub was an exciting way to finally relax. We used the fire pit to have a fun, family campfire, and make tasty smores. We made our way to Boone and Blowing Rock, while checking out the amazing, beautiful Grandfather Mountain. The cabin was the perfect place to read, paint, write, and spend some quality family time. This was also a great way to get away from things like Facebook, work, and things that are not very important in life. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your gorgeous cabin. Our stay was so awesome! We have been apart for almost a year on a deployment. The silence here was so relaxing. The location to our home is not too far away for a private weekend getaway. The setting of the cabin and cleanliness was perfect. We enjoyed spending quality time together from the "busyness" life can toss our way. I am a big trout fisherman and my favorite trout spots are very close by too. We caught a few nice size brown and brook trought as well. J&J Chop House was great! We hope to be back soon and hope to bring other friends to minister with. We had a wonderful time. Thanks many! |

Absolutely loved this cabin! We only took a couple of short drives - one to W. Jefferson, the other to Lansing. Enjoyed the murals & cheese store in W. Jefferson. Otherwise we wanted to spend most of our time enjoying our weekend @ the cabin. Took advantage of all the amenities - grilled out, firepit, games, movies, & the hot tub was a must at least once a day! Your website description/pictures are accurate, but the house & all that was provided was beyond our expectations. We loved the hot tub, corn hole, dvds, games. Nice to have things right there to entertain ourselves w/o having to leave or spend extra money so that it felt like a long, relaxing weekend. We can tell much thought & care have been put into it. Hope to make return trip in the near future. Thanks! |

What an amazing way to spend our 5th anniversary. We shopped, visited Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Restaurants (Boondock's Brewery was great)! But most of all we enjoyed the cabin. The notes were helpful, etc. The hot tub was really nice and we loved that it was secluded, but not too far from town. Y'all really know how to keep a cabin running. I was very impressed whenever we had a question it seemed like there was already an answer in the binder or on a note. Really great job, and super clean, we LOVED it!
